TSI World has an antivirus solution which keeps your school, staff and students safe from any threats. Webroot SecureAnywhere Endpoint Protection offers a unique security approach that protects across numerous areas; including email, web browsing, file attachments, hyperlinks, display ads, social media apps, and connected devices like USB drives, as well as other multiple threats with the potential to deliver malicious payloads.
Our Antivirus solution is cloud managed and is hosted on the Amazon Web Service (AWS). Access to configure and maintain the agents is controlled from the cloud. Once installed it uses very little processing and memory usage which allows even the oldest of machines to run the latest anti-virus with no issues.
– Virus Definitions – These are in the BrightCloud. The agent works by looking at the ‘DNA and makeup characteristics’ of each file upon access and cross references the central database in the cloud; it it’s flagged up as being “dirty”, you aren’t allowed to access the file.
– With this method, every agent installed as the knowledge and learning ability of every other computer utilising Webroot BrightCloud across the world. If an item is found, it is flagged and then within a matter of seconds its updated to the cloud and every other agent knows about it.
– Our Antivirus solution is also very competent in RansomWare (such as the Crypto Virus), and wins further in that it meets the soon to be applicable General Data Protection Requirements (GDPR).
Its virus protection ensures that every file is looked at upon access and if it flags up that there is a potential issue it will not allow access to the file. This means that staff and students shouldn’t accidently allow a virus to download onto their device through clicking on a file hiding a virus.
